Golden Hour in Downtown Franklin
We started Sam’s senior portrait session along Main Street in downtown Franklin, where the brick buildings, vintage storefronts, and warm Tennessee light created a backdrop that feels both classic and uniquely Middle Tennessee. Downtown Franklin is one of my favorite locations for senior photos because every corner tells a story — colorful doors, charming alleys, and that small-town magic you simply can’t recreate in a studio. Sam’s smile lit up every frame as we wandered from the courthouse square to a few of my favorite hidden spots that local seniors love.

After downtown, we headed over to Smith Park for a completely different feel. Smith Park is a hidden gem in Franklin with wide open fields, beautiful tree lines, and that gorgeous late-afternoon light filtering through the leaves.
